Mini Lunch Time League Finals
Today we had the finals of the mini leagues and in the shield final
Kildare were playing Monaghan. Good football game
but monaghan ended up winning 8-6. A good game of football....
We had one more final and Cork and Derry. A tough game it ended by Cork winning
11-9. What a game we had. A player from Monaghan

Mini Lunch  Time League Tuesday 

We had more football today at lunch time. The frist game was Armagh v Down a good game 

but a low scoring game and it ended up 3/2 Armagh winning by one point.There was one more game

and Cork and Derry were playing. A tense game but Cork ended up  winning by two points 4/2 ...we will have more football  tomorrow at lunch time 

Mini Lunch Time League Wednesday

Yesterday 5th and 6th class started playing a mini lunch time league.The teams are
Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Kerry, Derry, Down and Cork. The frist game was Monaghan v Dublin it was a hard game but Monaghan took the lead by winning by one point.The final score was 7-6.
The next game was Kildare v Kerry. It was a tight game and ended with 5 points a piece.
We had one more game Derry v down battling away but Derry got the last score it ended up 5-4 to Derry.We will have more football games  tomorrow at lunch time.

As part of our Active Schools Children will be given some 'active' homework every evening. This week, children were completing as many jumping jacks as they could in 1 minute. By Thursday, they are going to be trying to beat their own record.:) Next weeks exercise will be high knees in 1 minute..Lets see who can get the most!
